- Register and Log In
First, be sure to register on our Web site through New Customer
Registration. To accomplish this, enter a part number in "Search
Inventory". Click on the "Customer Service" button which appears on the
left side. Click on item "1. Login" - click on "Start As New User" -
click on "Sign Up". Registration is free and takes just a moment.
If you are a current customer, you can use your pre-assigned
LOGIN and PASSWORD. After you register and log in, current preferred pricing and various
search methods are available to include catalog #, manufacturer name,
keyword, category and subcategory. Under the "Customer Service" tab,
you can "Review Previous Orders" as well as "Change Address Details". To insure that you have successfully logged on, check under "Customer
Service". If #1 "Login" appears in the list it means you have
not been
logged in.

The most powerful feature of our site is the search engine. It's your
gateway to our database of over three hundred thousand products.
The "Search Inventory" field on the Chiron Home Page
appears to the left and remains available on all subsequent pages. Enter
product names, key words, supplier names or catalog numbers and our search engine goes to work for you.
Once you locate the products you need, load them into your requisition
by clicking on the "Order" button. Once you've found what you
need, complete your requisition by going to either "View Cart" or "Check
Out" and print a copy to
send to your internal purchasing department or just to use as a
reference.
A successful search will present one or more items which could be your exact match.
If you entered a distributor catalog number (Fisher or VWR), the
manufacturer's catalog number will appear instead of the number entered.
You can click on the "More Info" button which displays a second page of
additional product information as well as the distributor's catalog
number you entered. There are also three different prices displayed.
"Price FOB Toledo" is freight on board in Toledo, Ohio USA.. "Price CIF USA" is the price to any city in the contiguous 48 States. This price might be
useful to those who use the services of a freight forwarder.
"Price CIF <destination country>" is a delivered price to the country you name when registering.
All pricing is based on the assumption that your order/shipment will total 100 pounds or more.
Orders/shipments that do not meet the 100 pound minimum may be subject to additional freight
charges. Chiron will determine the method of shipment when CIF Destination pricing is appropriate.
If another method of shipment is requested which is more expensive, the price difference will be
added to the invoice.

Confirming Orders
We do not require confirming orders. If you do send a
confirming order, please mark it clearly to avoid duplication. A restocking
charge may be assessed for duplicate shipments due to unmarked confirming
orders.
Prices
Prices shown are in US dollars. All prices are FOB Toledo, Ohio unless
otherwise specified. For orders less than $50.00, a service charge of $10.00
will be assessed. We will gladly quote current prices on request.
Terms
Terms of payment are "Net 30 Days" with approved credit. In order
to avoid unnecessary delays, purchasers who do not have an account with us may
charge their order to Visa, Master Charge or American Express. Of course, you
can enclose a check or money order. Credit approval will require commercial and
bank references. We will apply a 3% service charge for credit card payments. Also,
all banking fees involved with a wire transfer are for the account of the remitter.
Shipping
In stock orders received Monday through Friday by 2:00 pm
Eastern Time are shipped the same day. Your shipping instructions will be
observed except where they conflict with I.C.C. or DOT regulations. On such
occasions we will ship by the least expensive, most satisfactory method. All
domestic freight charges, including insurance, COD, and forwarding, will be
prepaid and added to the invoice.
Returns
In returning merchandise, please consult us first for return
authorization number and shipping instructions or proper credit cannot be
assured. A restocking charge may be assessed based upon factors involved in the
specific transaction.
Claims
Every reasonable precaution is taken to pack merchandise
properly. Each order is carefully checked and inspected before shipment. Should
you find shortage, breakage, or damage, please copy packing slip and report to
the carrier immediately and request an Inspection Report. This report is
essential to support a claim for loss. We will do everything within our power to
assist in making a prompt and equitable settlement of claims. Any discrepancies
must be reported to us within 10 days.

can structure the terms, shipping dates, releases, and other conditions to fit

As a service to our customers, we do not require a minimum
order. However to help defray processing costs, a $10.00 service charge will be
assessed on orders less than $50.00.

telephone customer service representatives. They will help in returning
merchandise. If an item is not quite what you wanted, they will try to help
